Super Cool, Fabulous, Stylish ~ Yep, that me in the eyes of my Loving, Caring, Creative Son!

This Mother's Day was especially touching.  It marked the first year that my boys were old enough ~ and interested enough ~ to create gifts and cards for me on their own accord.  (You know, as opposed to dad giving them a piece of paper and making them sit down to create a card.)  They did get some prompting and inspiration at school ~ which was awesome ~ but both boys took the ideas and ran with them to create unique, heartfelt gifts and experiences that I will treasure always.  

I already shared Collin's poem and scavenger hunt; here's Owen's gifts of love:

[I had Owen read his card out loud to me, and he inserted "best" orally in the last sentence, noting that he'd left that word out.  : )  I want to add here that we share our lives with many fabulous and wonderful moms and mom-figures that Owen looks up to and loves, so I consider this as a remarkable compliment!  Thank you, Owen!  And much love to all of my mom friends!  You help me be a better mom every day, sharing your experiences and trials and many, many ideas!!]
