Leave it to Owen. This morning he dubbed Kate "Katie-Cat." (You know, like Kitty Cat?!) Oh, brother.
Other nicknames (mostly mine for Kate) that have come out: Katarina and Katie-Kate-Kate.
Note: It's interesting. We are discouraging the name Katie. We prefer that she be Katelyn or Kate. BUT I am not about to tell Owen, who is the only one in our household who calls her Katie, that he can not. It's simply too cute. There a grandma and grandpa (or two) that also fall into "Katie" and we've quit correcting them too. (You guys know who you are!) ; )
